Our Mission
Our Mission
We came to Vermont on a whim to visit and we instantly knew that we had to stay. Vermont and its wonderfully warm people and its many beautiful lakes, mountains and farms make it home.

It sounds lofty to be writing about one's 'mission in life', when the path that we are on is ever-changing. But perhaps that's the point! In a constantly evolving world there are certain things that we hope never change: kindness, passion, generosity, and compassion.

We are particular (some may call it fussy) about our baking and our cookies. But what really lights our fire is you! People are what make us tick. At our cookie tastings and demos we have met so many interesting people and it has been inspirational on so many levels. People are a constant source of new ideas for us. That is how recently our Gluten Free line of Comfort Cookies came about.

Volunteerism is one of our passions and our Comfort Cookies have allowed us to accomplish that goal in a variety of ways. We often don't get to see the excitement that an unexpected package of Comfort Cookies creates, but we certainly hear about it. We are continually humbled by the warm-hearted responses we receive, from the closeness of Burlington to the remoteness of US military bases overseas.

Smiles are universal! Perhaps the most important part of our mission is to spread happiness as often as we can around the world. We really do bake our cookies with love, and we know people can feel that. We thank you for touching our hearts and making our journey in this life that much sweeter.

"You have the perfect name for your cookies because at the Ronald McDonald House your cookies bring a special "comfort" to our guests who are going through the stress of having an ill child. When the guest families realize they have arrived... they pick out their favorite flavor. Thanks so much for sharing your delicious cookies with the Ronald McDonald House!"
